Key responsibilities
- Inspect AC/DC systems and determine the root cause of faults;
- Diagnose inverters, PV strings, cables and protection devices;
- Measure insulation, grounding and PE continuity;
- Assess and improve grounding, lightning-protection and surge-protection systems;
- Review electrical designs, select equipment and control installation quality;
- Participate in pre-commissioning tests, commissioning and handover;
- Prepare inspection plans and technical records.
Requirements
- Relevant higher or vocational education;
- At least three years of experience working with electrical installations;
- Knowledge of three-phase 0.4 kV systems and PV DC circuits;
- A valid electrical-safety qualification of at least Group III;
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and use measurement instruments safely;
- Availability for periodic regional visits.
Preferred
Experience with solar plants and industrial inverters; Group IV/V qualification; knowledge of medium-voltage systems, thermography, power-quality studies or AutoCAD; and a category B driving licence.
The company provides the required measurement instruments, work resources and regional travel expenses.
